In the following Hadith, the prophet accused a man of fornicating with the mother of his son and, therefore, sent out Ali to kill the man. When Ali came upon the man, he found that the man did not have a penis.

Anas reported that a person was charged with fornication with the mother of Allahโ€™s Messengerโ€™s son. Thereupon Allahโ€™s Messenger said to โ€˜Ali: Go and strike his neck. โ€˜Ali came to him, and he found him in a well, making his body cool. โ€˜Ali said to him: Come out, and as he took hold of his hand and brought him out, he found that his penis had been cut. โ€˜Ali refrained from striking his neck. He came to Allahโ€™s Apostle and said: Allahโ€™s Messenger, he is a castrated man and does not have a penis.

Sahih Muslim 2771

This Hadith states that the prophet falsely accused a man and the mother of his son of adultery (zina), a punishable offense. This is a flagrant violation of the Quran, which requires four witnesses. Additionally, the Quranic punishment is lashing and not death.

The adulteress and the adulterer you shall whip each of them a hundred lashes. Do not be swayed by pity from carrying out GODโ€™s law, if you truly believe in GOD and the Last Day. And let a group of believers witness their penalty. โ€“ Quran 24:2

As Sunnis do not abide by the Quran, they ascribe stoning as the punishment for fornication when one of the individuals is married. If Sunnis claim that this was a slave of the prophet and, therefore, not a wife, then he exceeded the bounds of the law under their own guidelines. If, on the other hand, they want to say it was the prophetโ€™s wife, then the prophet would have to be lashed eighty times, and no testimony can be accepted from him as he falsely accused his own wife of adultery and did not provide four witnesses.

Those who accuse married women of adultery, then fail to produce four witnesses, you shall whip them eighty lashes, and do not accept any testimony from them; they are wicked. โ€“ Quran 24:4

So, no matter how they want to address this, they are slandering the prophet with their false hadith that have zero basis.

These are GODโ€™s revelations that we recite to you truthfully. In which Hadith other than GOD and His revelations do they believe? Woe to every fabricator, guilty. The one who hears GODโ€™s revelations recited to him, then insists arrogantly on his way, as if he never heard them. Promise him a painful retribution. โ€“ Quran 45:6-8

We have permitted the enemies of every prophetโ€”human and jinn devilsโ€”to inspire in each other fancy words, in order to deceive. Had your Lord willed, they would not have done it. You shall disregard them and their fabrications. This is to let the minds of those who do not believe in the Hereafter listen to such fabrications, and accept them, and thus expose their real convictions. โ€“ Quran 6:112-113
