Salat Positions

Salat Consists of Standing

The Quran consistently uses the term aqฤซm ( ุฃูŽู‚ูู…ู ) in conjunction with Salat ( ุงู„ุตูŽู‘ู„ูŽุงุฉ ). This word means stand but is typically translated as โ€œobserveโ€ as in practice.

[2:3] who believe in the unseen, observe the Contact Prayers (Salat), and from our provisions to them, they give to charity.
