Adhan

TLDR: Sunnis include the name of the prophet in their call to prayer. Both the Salat and the masjids must be exclusively dedicated to God alone.

[72:18] The places of worship belong to GOD; do not call on anyone else beside GOD.

وَأَنَّ ٱلْمَسَـٰجِدَ لِلَّهِ فَلَا تَدْعُوا۟ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ أَحَدًا

If a masjid has issues with devoting their masjid to God alone and is only happy when others are mentioned beside God, then that is a masjid of Satan. For example, most Sunni mosques will mention the prophet’s name in their call to prayer (adhan). If they are not capable of only mentioning God’s, then it is a sign that the masjid is not devoted to God alone and should be avoided.

[39:45] When GOD ALONE is mentioned, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter shrink with aversion. But when others are mentioned beside Him, they become satisfied.*

(٤٥) وَإِذَا ذُكِرَ ٱللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ ٱشْمَأَزَّتْ قُلُوبُ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ وَإِذَا ذُكِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ إِذَا هُمْ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ
