Kitab

The Quran references itself throughout the text using different names. One of these names is al-kitab ( ูฑู„ูƒุชุจ ) which means book or scripture. This indicates that one of the facets of the Quran was that it was intended to be written from the start of the revelation.

[2:2] This scripture is infallible; a beacon for the righteous;
