Do not write anything other than Quran
حَدَّثَنَا هَدَّابُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الأَزْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ تَكْتُبُوا عَنِّي وَمَنْ كَتَبَ عَنِّي غَيْرَ الْقُرْآنِ فَلْيَمْحُهُ وَحَدِّثُوا عَنِّي وَلاَ حَرَجَ وَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَىَّ - قَالَ هَمَّامٌ أَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ - مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ " .
Abu Sa'id Khudri reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: Do not write down anything from me, and he who wrote down anything from me except the Qur'an, he should erase it and tell me and not he be blamed. But he who attributed any falsehood to me-and Hammam said: I think he also said: " deliberately" -he should, in fact, find his abode in the Hell-Fire.

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو شِهَابٍ، عَنِ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ النَّاجِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ مَا كُنَّا نَكْتُبُ غَيْرَ التَّشَهُّدِ وَالْقُرْآنِ .
It was narrated that Abu Saeed Al-Khudri said: "We used not to write anything but the Tasha-hud and the Qur'an."

حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ، حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حَنْطَبٍ، قَالَ دَخَلَ زَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ عَلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنْ حَدِيثٍ، فَأَمَرَ إِنْسَانًا يَكْتُبُهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ زَيْدٌ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَمَرَنَا أَنْ لاَ نَكْتُبَ شَيْئًا مِنْ حَدِيثِهِ فَمَحَاهُ .
Narrated Al-Muttalib bin 'Abd Allah bin Hantab: Al-Muttalib ibn Abdullah ibn Hantab said: Zayd ibn Thabit entered upon Mu'awiyah and asked him about a tradition. He ordered a man to write it. Zayd said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ordered us not to write any of his traditions. So he erased it.

Narrated Abdullah, he said: Yahya bin Hakim narrated to us, saying: Abu al-Walid narrated to me, saying: Hammam narrated to us, and Muhammad bin Abdul Malik narrated to us, saying: Yazid narrated to us, saying: Hammam informed us from Zaid bin Aslam from Ata bin Yasar from Abu Sa'id from the Prophet (peace be upon him), who said: "Do not write anything from me except the Qur'an. Whoever has written anything from me other than the Qur'an should erase it." [Muhammad said: "Do not write anything from me except the Qur'an. Whoever has written anything other than it should erase it."]
حدثنا عبد الله قال حدثنا يحيى بن حكيم قال حدثني أبو الوليد حدثني همام وحدثنا محمد بن عبد الملك حدثنا يزيد قال أخبرنا همام عن زيد بن أسلم عن عطاء بن يسار عن أبي سعيد عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: لا تكتبوا عني شيئًا سوى القرآن فمن كتب عني شيئًا سوى القرآن فليمحه. [وقال محمد شيئًا إلا القرآن فمن كتب عني شيئًا غيره].

By mistranslating the word "ayah" in this Hadith as "sentence" instead of "verse" the propagators of this mistranslation are deliberately spreading lies about the prophet
