Mosaic Law

Here, in the first passage, we have Jesus—quite emphatically too—leaving no room for the Law to ever change… and then declaring all food clean, thus renouncing one of the Law’s most fundamental decree

Matthew 5:18

For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.

Mark 7:19

…since it enters not his heart but his stomach, and is expelled?” (Thus he declared all foods clean.)
