Often, Christians attempt to discredit the Quran by reading it in the most uncharitable light. The same can be done with the Bible.
Jesus promotes suicide and self-mutilation
Temptations to Sin42 “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin,[] it would be better for him if a great millstone were hung round his neck and he were thrown into the sea. 43 And if your hand causes you to sin,[] cut it off; it is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go to hell,[] to the unquenchable fire.[] 45 And if your foot causes you to sin,[] cut it off; it is better for you to enter life lame than with two feet to be thrown into hell.[][] 47 And if your eye causes you to sin,[] pluck it out; it is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into hell,[] 48 where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.
:
Concerning Adultery27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28 But I say to you that every one who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and throw it away; it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell.[] 30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away; it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell.[]
Concerning Divorce31 “It was also said, ‘Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.’ 32 But I say to you that every one who divorces his wife, except on the ground of unchastity, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

Psalm 62:2: "He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken."
Psalm 62:6: "He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken."
Psalm 92:15: "To declare that the LORD is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him."
